Pitcher Sean Newcomb has signed a one-year, $1 million contract extension with the Oakland A's. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The A's acquired the veteran from the San Francisco Giants in 2023 and he worked to a quality 3.00 ERA across seven appearances, two of which were brief starts. The left-hander owns a career 4.47 ERA across 168 games between the Braves, Giants, and A's for his career.
