Trea Turner has been placed on the 10-day IL due to a left hamstring strain. He is expected to be out for at least six weeks. (Philadelphia Phillies on X)

Turner left Friday's game early due to his hamstring and now goes to the IL with what could be a lengthy absence. Kody Clemens was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move, while Edmundo Sosa will likely get the bulk of starts at shortstop while Turner is out.
