The Los Angeles Angels have designated right-hander Zach Plesac for assignment.

The Angels made a flurry of roster moves on Monday and Plesac joined infielder Livan Soto in being designated off of the 40-man roster. The former Guardians starter posted a 7.59 ERA in just five starts with Cleveland last season and owns a 4.20 ERA in 84 career big league outings (83 starts).

Don't be surprised to see Plesac latch on somewhere else quickly given his steady 4.20 career ERA.
