Martavis Bryant has been released by the Cowboys after spending most of last season on the practice squad. The Cowboys are the first NFL team Bryant has been apart of since his suspension in 2018.
Fantasy Impact
Bryant has not seen any playing action since 2018, as he was suspended from 2018-2023. The 32-year-old previously played for the Steelers and Raiders prior to his extended suspension. Bryant will likely look to join another squad, but even if he does, he won't have much viability as a fantasy player.
Suspended WR Martavis Bryant is unlikely to play in 2020, per Ian Rapaport of the NFL Network. He has not applied for reinstatement from his indefinite suspension, but still hopes to play.

There are teams reportedly interested, Bryant could get another shot in the NFL in the near future.
Former Steelers and Raiders WR Martavis Bryant has officially applied for reinstatement into the NFL.
Fantasy Impact
Bryant played eight games with the Raiders in 2018 before being indefinitely suspended for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Before playing in Oakland, Bryant played three seasons in Pittsburgh. The former 2014 fourth-round pick out of Clemson will look to show the NFL that he’s clean and willing to stay that way. Bryant in his career has 145 catches for 2,183 yards and 17 TDs. Until he gets officially reinstated and signed by an NFL team, he’s probably not even worthy of a roster spot in the deepest of fantasy leagues. Let’s see if Bryant can first be officially reinstated by commissioner Roger Goodell.
Martavis Bryant has been suspended indefinitely by the NFL for once again violating the league's substance abuse policy.
Fantasy Impact
Bryant is currently on IR and will be a free agent after the end of the season, but it's very likely that he's done as an NFL player at this point. The move was always a concern this season, and it finally came to fruition. If he wasn't already, Bryant can be dropped in all formats.
